Blow moulding technology
Technical Extrusion Blow moulding is Elmeg’s core technology. It is a plastic transformation technology that is ideal to make hollow parts with just one process (tank, ducts, containers etc.)
Plastic is melted down and extruded; it means that, after the heatening and melting phase, plastic material becomes a tube-like shape that is called «parison».
The «parison» is closed into a mould and like in a big balloon air is inflated in it so that it expands into the mould cavity. By cooling in contact with the mould cavity walls it gets solid again and assumes the desired shape.
This is the basic concept of extrusion blow moulding technology.

SUCTION BLOW MOULDING
This blow moulding process is very effective in term of production capacity and scrap reduction; it is possible to work special materials and get difficult shapes.
INTERNAL TOOLING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
This is an important capability that allows Elmeg to be fast, flexible and to support customer with the most effective and reliable timing on mould construction and availability.
HOT PLATE AND ULTRASOUND WELDING
